aL Base【アエル ベース】おはよう、おやすみ若松琉夏 個展

「おはよう、おやすみ」は、現在東京藝術大学在学中の若松琉夏による初の個展です。

若松にとって二次元のキャラクターたちはインスピレーションの源であり、自身を形成する上で強く影響を与えた存在でした。虚構である彼ら彼女らを、現実に落とし込み、留めることを模索しながら作品制作を行っています。

今回の展示では、キャンバスとレジン（樹脂）を用い、ある二次元の少女をモチーフに、少女の存在や痕跡を示します。それは、あたかも現実にいるかのように。

個展のタイトルにもなっている「おはよう」と「おやすみ」は、日常的な挨拶であり密接なコミュニケーションを象徴する言葉だと若松は考えています。
二次元のキャラクターと三次元の鑑賞者が作品を通じて交わすコミュニケーション、その虚構と現実の狭間に存在する不確かな関係性を感じてみてください。

“Good Morning, Goodnight” is the debut solo exhibition by WAKAMATSU Runa, currently a student at Tokyo University of the Arts.

For WAKAMATSU, two-dimensional characters have been a source of inspiration and have played a significant role in shaping her identity. In her creative process, she explores ways to translate and preserve these fictional beings within the realm of reality.

In this exhibition, using canvas and resin, WAKAMATSU depicts a particular two-dimensional girl as her motif, presenting her presence and traces as if she truly exists in reality.

The exhibition title, “Good Morning, Goodnight,” reflects the artist’s belief that these everyday greetings symbolize intimate communication. Through her work, WAKAMATSU invites viewers to experience the interaction between two-dimensional characters and three-dimensional observers, prompting reflection on the uncertain relationship between fiction and reality.
